WIN Semiconductors Selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the Seventh Consecutive Year and Recognized with CDP Double A Ratings

WIN Semiconductors was recognized by S&P Global on February 18, earning selection to the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the seventh consecutive year. Among more than 9,200 participating companies worldwide, only 848 were selected, underscoring WIN’s outstanding achievements built through years of deep commitment to ESG.

In the Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment (SEM) industry, WIN ranked among the top performers with an overall score of 86 and achieved full marks in five categories, including Business Ethics, Product Quality, and Privacy Protection.

In addition, CDP, a global environmental disclosure platform, recently announced its 2025 assessment results. WIN received the highest “A” leadership rating in both Climate Change and Water Security. Notably, WIN has received leadership-level recognition in Water Security for three consecutive years, reflecting the company’s well-established management systems and transparent disclosure practices in climate governance, carbon management strategy, energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives, and water resource risk management.

In terms of environmental sustainability, WIN continues to implement energy-saving and carbon-reduction initiatives, closely monitors renewable energy development trends, and evaluates a more diversified renewable energy mix to increase the overall share of green energy use. In addition, although the company’s operating sites are located in areas with low to medium water stress, WIN has proactively participated in the Water Resources Agency’s reclaimed water program. By diversifying its water sources, WIN hopes to strengthen supply stability, reduce reliance on raw water from the Shimen Reservoir, and lower the risk of water shortages at its facilities during dry seasons.

In terms of social sustainability, talent is WIN’s most important asset and the driving force behind its growth. The company has long invested in cultivating compound semiconductor talent in Taiwan. Building on years of academic exchange and collaboration, WIN has partnered with multiple universities to advance industry–academia cooperation. At the same time, WIN brings together the strengths and resources of industry, academia, and students to jointly develop talent in key fields such as system chips, thereby reinforcing the foundation for sustainable industry development.
