WIN Semiconductors (3105 TT) selected as new addition to DJSI World Index

WIN Semiconductors (3105 TT) announced today that it has been selected for inclusion for the first time in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). WIN Semiconductors joins the prestigious index along with its much larger Taiwan peers TSMC (2330 TT), ASE (3711 TT) and UMC (2303 TT).

The DJSI World Index is comprised of corporate leaders in global sustainability and represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term economic and environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. Each year more than 7,300 companies around the world are evaluated.
WIN Semiconductors received top scores in the annual assessment for Innovation Management and Product Quality as well as Environmental and Social reporting. WIN has the world's largest production capacity in the GaAs industry with monthly capacity reaching 41,000 wafers and continues to be optimistic about the future demand for compound semiconductor wafer foundry. To fulfill the long-term demand from customers, WIN will be entering the Southern Taiwan Science Park in Kaohsiung to establish an additional fab, which is expected to lay the foundation for its next 20 years. WIN also consistently ranks within the top 5% of all listed-companies in Taiwan on the annual TWSE Corporate Governance Assessment.
