Taipei, Sep. 2nd, 2016– WIN Semi. (TPEx: 3105) today announced its revenue for August 2016. On a consolidated basis, net revenue was NT$1,208 million, an increase of 24.16% year-over-year and a decrease of 1.70% month-over-month. Revenue for January through August 2016 totaled NT$9,284 million, an increase of 19.25% compared to the same period in 2015.
    WIN Semi. today updated its 3Q16 revenue guidance which was previously announced during its investor conference on July 25, 2016. As the smartphone market faces product transition and a strong wait-and-see market atmosphere, customer demand has become more conservative. Appreciation of the New Taiwan Dollar has also had an impact on our revenue. As a result, we revise our previously announced 3Q16 revenue guidance from low single digit quarter-over-quarter increase to low single digit decrease.
    Although the visibility of global smartphone market is unclear, we are still optimistic toward full-year growth. We will continue to actively leverage our strengths in multi-technologies to diversify market applications and maintain our long-term operational growth momentum.
